Making our church available to outside organizations is an important part of our mission. We are glad you are here!

To allow us to keep making our church building available to your group and others, we ask that your group observe the following guidelines and any instructions posted on signs within the building.

Church Building Use Guidelines

  1. After our office receives your request, the designated person for your event will be contacted by a Building and Grounds Team Member advising the status of your request.

  2. You are responsible for setting up AND taking down tables and chairs according to your needs. PLEASE PICK UP CHAIRS AND TABLES. DO NOT DRAG THEM ON THE FLOOR. Return room to original set up.  Use only the areas approved for your use on request form.

  3. If kitchen usage is requested and approved, it must be cleaned and left as before use. LEFTOVERS AND RECYCLABLES MUST BE TAKEN WITH YOU.

  4. After your event, please survey areas used to ensure all lights are off, windows are closed, and curtains/blinds are closed.  If the kitchen was used, please ensure the stove and oven are completely off and the refrigerator door is closed. Turn off the automatic back door feature, if engaged, before locking the back door.

  5. No smoking is allowed in the building.

  6. We do not allow alcoholic beverages, raffles, or games of chance.

  7. The use of the church for events where an admission is charged is not permitted.

  8. The use of the church by groups or individuals campaigning or fundraising for political office is not permitted.

  9. Service dogs are welcome.  Other dogs are allowed but must be on a leash or in a crate. Owners are responsible for their dog’s actions.

  10. If the leadership of your group changes, the new person must contact our office so that they can sign a new contract verifying they understand the conditions for the use of our facility and that we have the correct contact information for the responsible person.

  11. In accordance with New York State regulations to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and our Church’s administration, we ask that each of your participants comply with the following guidelines: 

    • Individuals have not been in close contact with anyone who tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks. 

    • Individuals have not had symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks. 

    • Currently, mask-wearing is up to individuals. 

    • Individuals must sign the notebook provided upon entering the building. 

    • IF ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP TESTS POSITIVE FOR OR DEVELOPS SYMPTOMS OFCOVID-19 VIRUS, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE CHURCH OFFICE IMMEDIATELY.
