CORNING AREA AGING IN PLACE, LTD. (CAAIP)
CAAIP is a not-for-profit organization founded to give persons 65 years of age and older, living in the area encompassing the Corning-Painted Post School District, the confidence and practical means to remain in their homes as they grow older. Presently, we carry out our mission by presenting informational programs from September through June. CAAIP offers approximately eight monthly meetings a year. Most meetings are held at First Congregational United Church of Christ which is handicapped accessible and offers ample parking. Meetings are usually held on a Thursday at 10:00 AM. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings regardless of age. Our meetings feature programs with speakers on a wide range of topics of particular interest to seniors - medical, financial, legal, transportation to name a few. There is no fee to attend monthly program meetings, but contributions are always welcome and are tax deductible.
Our mission will be furthered enhanced with the publication of a Solutions Directory, which is in the process of being compiled.
