Women's Fellowship usually meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Do you knit or crochet? We keep a selection of prayer shawls to give to members and friends of the church who are in need of a few extra prayers. The idea behind prayer shawls is that people feel embraced and loved by those who created the shawl.
Since 2015 First Congregational UCC Corning and Emanuel Lutheran Church joined forces to grow fresh fruits and vegetables for donation to the Community Food Pantry. We work together to plant, weed and harvest the garden located in the side yard here at First Congregational UCC.

CORNING AREA AGING IN PLACE, LTD. (CAAIP)
CAAIP is a not-for-profit organization founded to give persons 65 years of age and older, living in the area encompassing the Corning-Painted Post School District, the confidence and practical means to remain in their homes as they grow older. It was incorporated in New York State on May 11, 2009 and was granted a 501 (C) (3) designation by IRS on January 6, 2010.Presently, we carry out our mission by presenting informational programs from September through June. CAAIP offers approximately eight monthly meetings a year. Most meetings are held at First Congregational United Church of Christ which is handicapped accessible and offers ample parking. Meetings are usually held on a Thursday at 10:00 AM. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings regardless of age.
